The population health indicator, which has an impact on the development of labor potential and its demographic component, has been studied. A correlation analysis of the factors influencing the state of health of the population was performed. It has been proven that there is a strong relationship between life expectancy as an indicator of health and the factors that characterize the health care system, economic development of the state, quality of food and lifestyle. Spatial econometric models of the relationship between effective variable life expectancy and factor characteristics of different nature based on statistical material from 38 European countries were created. The obtained models have high values of adequacy and accuracy criteria, as well as satisfactory predictive quality. The population health indicator, which has an impact on the development of labor potential and its demographic component, has been studied. The study is aimed to analyze the dynamic behavior of indicators of the market share of operating systems of mobile devices using the modified Lotka-Volterra model. Using the solution of an optimization problem, the coefficients of a system of differential equations in the case of two and three competitors are estimated on the basis of real statistical data, and special points and properties of data from dynamic systems are investigated. Based on the numerical integration of the obtained equations, predictions are made of the market share of mobile operating systems Android and iOS.The study is aimed to analyze the dynamic behavior of indicators of the market share of operating systems of mobile devices using the modified Lotka-Volterra model. FORECASTING OF THE STOCK RATE OF LEADING WORLD COMPANIES USING ECONOMETRIC METHODS AND DCF ANALYSIS

    Get PDF
In this article, we will cover various models for forecasting the stock price of global companies, namely the DCF model, with well-reasoned financial analysis and the ARIMA model, an integrated model of autoregression − moving average, as an econometric mechanism for point and interval forecasting. The main goal is to compare the obtained forecasting results and evaluate their real accuracy. The article is based on forecasting stock prices of two companies: Coca-Cola HBC AG (CCHGY) and Nestle S.A. (NSRGF). At the moment, it is not determined which approach is better for predicting the stock price − the analysis of financial indicators or the use of econometric data analysis methods. In this article, we will cover various models for forecasting the stock price of global companies, namely the DCF model, with well-reasoned financial analysis and the ARIMA model, an integrated model of autoregression − moving average, as an econometric mechanism for point and interval forecasting. The aim of this study was to determine morphometric differences of fruits and seeds between 19 selected American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana L.) genotypes. The genotypes of American persimmon have been growing more than 15 years in Forest-Steppe of Ukraine in the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of NAS of Ukraine. They are well adapted to the climatic and soil conditions. The fruits were collected at the period of their full maturity (October). The population differs in a weight, shape, size and color of fruits and seeds. Their morphometric parameters were following: fruit weight from 2.30 to 81.30 g, fruit length from 8.84 to 49.73 mm, fruit width from 12.84 to 55.34 mm, seed weight from 0.1 to 1.0 g, seed length from 8.30 to 20.88 mm, fruit width from 7.04 to 14.88 mm, seed thickness from 1.98 to 7.09 mm and number of seeds in the fruit from 1 to 8. Partenocarpic fruits are found in some genotypes. The shape indexes of fruits and seeds were found ranging from 0.74 to 1.10 and from 1.01 to 1.77, respectively. During the analysis of qualitative composition and quantitative content of volatiles of fruits from the 4 perspective genotypes of Diospyros virginiana 106 compounds were detected. From them 83 compounds were identified. The identified compounds belong to alcohols, saturated and unsaturated aldehydes, ketons, fatty acids, esters, terpenoids etc. The fruits are rich in fat acids. The outcome of the research points to the fact that the genepool of Ukrainian Diospyros virginiana is a rich source of genetic diversity and might be used in selection for creation a new genotypes and cultivars

The effect of an early-career involuntary job loss on later life health in Europe

Recent years have witnessed an increase in interest towards the long-term health consequences of early-career job loss and youth unemployment. Relying on detailed retrospective data from the third wave (2008/09) of the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) this paper investigates whether an involuntary job loss in the first 10 years after labour market entry has lasting negative effects on health more than 30 years later. The results show that an early-career involuntary job loss due to a layoff or plant closure increases the probability of fair or poor self-rated health in late life by about 6 percentage points. Moreover, examining the mechanisms behind this relationship, the analysis reveals that the subsequent unemployment risks and employment instability only explain a small share of the total effect. In line with previous studies, these findings highlight the importance of early career experiences for workers’ later life health

Educational Crisis in the Modern Information and Digital Society Against the Backdrop of Russian Armed Aggression

The educational space is being integrated into the information and digital format of social activity. Sociocultural processes and events determine the intensity of the involvement of scientific and technological progress in the educational environment. The last three years have been a real crisis for Ukrainian education. COVID-19 pandemic and Russian armed aggression actually transferred organizational and training elements of the educational system into online mode. This caused the actualization of all manifestations of digitalization in Ukrainian education. Therefore, the purpose of scientific intelligence is to analyze the information and technological factors that respond to the crisis phenomena in modern education. The article aims to highlight the practical digital resources that have become in demand in the preservation of the functioning of the education system in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The most appropriate methodology capable of analyzing the problems and risks in the digital cluster of education associated with military actions is a systemic, structural-functional, and comparative analysis. Thus, the educational crisis in Ukraine was an obvious consequence of Russian armed aggression. The information and digital educational environment play an important stabilizing role, allowing to maintain the functioning of this sphere of public activity. Digitalization has introduced innovative manifestations in the administrative and organizational, educational and methodological, and information and communication clusters of education. At the same time, the processes of digitalization have also come under attack by the aggressor and faced the risks caused by gross violations of rights in educational cyberspace
